Language pair
English into Dutch. And Dutch into English.
English and Dutch in both directions, by the same translator, working from Maastricht since 2003. The six sectors below are the ones the practice covers in every language pair; this one is no exception.
Into Dutch, what tends to arrive is software and interface strings, marketing and product copy, financial and healthcare content, and technical documentation. Into English, it is annual reports, corporate communications, Dutch legal and government documents, and Dutch marketing copy written for an international audience. Each is handled with the register the reader expects, not a mirror of the source.
Machine translation post-editing is available in both directions, including for legal and commercial documents such as contracts, terms and conditions and regulatory filings, and for software, marketing and financial content. Legal MTPE is quoted separately from standard post-editing, because the work is closer to translation than to review.

UK and US English on the target side, Belgian Dutch on the source side.
Target languages
Both languages are native, from upbringing rather than study. Whichever direction a text runs, it is written by a native speaker of the language it ends up in.
